«Ի տարբերություն 2016 թվականի ապրիլյան ռազմական գործողությունների` այս տարի` հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին սկսված լարվածության ժամանակ, հանրությունն ականատես չեղավ պաշտոնյաների, որոնք մեկնեցին սահման, սելֆիներ արեցին զինվորների հետ: Սակայն բոլորս ենք հիշում, թե ինչ իրավիճակ էր տարիներ առաջ` Ապրիլյան պատերազմի թեժ օրերից հետո, տարբեր պաշտոնյաներ, պատգամավորներ, լրագրողներ, նաև տարբեր անհատներ առիթը բաց չէ­ին թողնում առաջնագիծ մեկնելու, այնտեղից լուսանկարներ հրապարակելու հա­մար` հայտարարելով, թե զինվորների կողքին են և անգամ ամենափոքր օգնությունն էլ փորձում էին գովազդել:

Հիմա իրավիճակը միանգամայն այլ է. «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություն­ներով` սահմանային այս լարվածությունից հետո էլ մի շարք պատգամավորներ, պաշտոնյաներ, գործարարներ, հայտնիներ անձամբ են դիմել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ Օնիկ Գասպարյանին` սահմանագիծ մեկնելու ցանկությամբ, սակայն մերժում են ստացել: Մեր տեղեկություններով` զինված ուժերի ղեկավարությունը նրանց հստակ ասել է, որ Հայաստանում կորոնավիրուսայիև համավարակով պայմանավորված` նպատակահարմար չէ գնալ սահմանագիծ և շփվել զինվորների հետ:

Բացատրվել է, որ այդպես փորձ է արվում կանխարգելել վարակի տարածումը բանակում: Ընդ որում, նկատենք, որ Պաշտպանության նախարարությունն օգոստոսի 5-ին հայտարարու­թյուն էր տարածել և ընդգծել, որ անգամ նորակոչիկների երդման արարողության ժամանակ թույլ չեն տալու ծնողների ներկայությունը: Եվ, բացի այս արարողությունից, փաստորեն առհասարակ առաջնագծում ծառայող զինվորների հետ շփում որևէ մեկին չի թույլատրվել, չնայած դիմողների պակաս չի եղել»,-գրում է թերթը։
