Այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 6-ին, խոշոր ու ողբերգական ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Լոռու մարզում։ Ժամը 06։50-ի սահմաններում BMW 320 մակնիշի 49 AN 449 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի վարորդը Գյումրի-Սպիտակ ավտոճանապարհի՝ Հարթագյուղ գյուղի վարչական տարածքում դեպի Սպիտակ ընթանալիս դեռևս անհայտ հանգամանքներում դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթևեկելի գոտուց և մոտ 110 մետր մի քանի պտույտ շրջվելով՝ հայտնվել դաշտում։   Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով 5 հոգի տարբեր աստիճանի մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են «Վանաձոր» բժշկական կենտրոն, որոնցից մեկը մահացել է, իսկ երկուսը գտնվում են ծայրահեղ, երկուսը՝ ծանր կայուն վիճակում։ Վիրավորներին առաջինը օգնության են հասել քաղաքացիներն ու օպերատիվորեն դեպքի վայր ժամանած Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության Փրկարար ծառայության Լոռու մարզային փրկարարական վարչության Սպիտակի հրշեջ փրկարարական ջոկատի փրկարարները։   Վիրավորներից մի քանիսը հայտնվել են դրսում՝ կողաշրջված ավտոմեքենայից տարբեր մետր հեռավորության վրա։ Օպերատիվ են գործել նաև Սպիտակի բժշկական կենտրոնի հերթապահ խումբը, ովքեր մինչև հիվանդանոց տեղափոխելը, տեղում առաջին բուժօգնությունն են ցուցաբերել վիրավորներին։ Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել են Ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 5-րդ վաշտի 1-ին դասակի ծառայողները՝ վաշտի հրամանատար Լյուդվիգ Ղանդիլյանի գլխավորությամբ։   Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել են նաև ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախարարության Ռազմական ոստիկանության Գյումրիի կայազորի ռազմական ոստիկանության բաժնի ծառայողները՝ բաժնի պետի տեղակալ Կարո Հովհաննիսյանի գլխավորությամբ, սակայն Գյումրու ռազմական ոստիկանության ծառայողները պարզել են, որ տարածքը, որտեղ տեղի է ունեցել վթարը, Լոռու մարզում է, և տեղեկությունը փոխանցել են Լոռու մարզային ռազմական ոստիկանության բաժնի իրենց գործընկերներին։
