«Russia Today» հեռուստաալիքի գլխավոր խմբագիր Մարգարիտա Սիմոնյանը դիմել է ՀՀ իշխանություններին,ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում հետևյալ գրառումը է կատարելով.․ Ես դիմում եմ ՀՀ իշխանություններին: Հենց իշխանություններին, այլ ոչ թե ժողովրդին, որի մասն եմ կազմում: Ես դիմում եմ միայն այն պատճառով, որ ձեր ինտերնետային զորքերը իմ սոցիալական ցանցերը գրոհել են պահանջելով (գոռոզ ու ագրեսիվ տեսքով) «արտահայտել իմ դիրքորոշումը»:Հարցրեցիք ` ես արտահայտում եմ: Դրսից նայեք ինքներդ ձեզ: Տեսեք, թե ինչ եք անում: Ինչպես եք վարվում: Դուք ի՞նչ հայեր եք: Հայերը ազնիվ, ազնվական և շնորհակալ ժողովուրդ են: Ես միշտ այդպիսին եմ եղել: Եվ դուք վարվում եք այնպես, ինչպես․․․(արգելված է օրենքով): Ի պատասխան Ռուսաստանից ստացված երկարատև բարության և պաշտպանության, դուք չճանաչեցիք Ղրիմը: Քանի որ սա Հայաստանի ներքին գործն է: Բացառապես քաղաքական վրեժխնդրությունից դրդված`դուք բանտարկեցիք Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին` Ռուսաստանի մշտական դաշնակցին: Բանտարկեցիք հատուկ, ձևական՝ թքելով «ռուս ընկերների» երեսին: Քանի որ սա Հայաստանի ներքին գործն է: Դուք ողողել եք երկիրը հակառուսական հասարակական կազմակերպություններով, որոնք ձեր տարածքում գտնվող երիտասարդներին սովորեցնում են, թե ինչպես տապալել կառավարությունը Ռուսաստանում: Դուք դարձել եք Կովկասում հակառուսական ուժերի ցատկահարթակ: Քանի որ սա Հայաստանի ներքին գործն է: Դուք դուրս հանեցիք ռուս հայ գործարարներին: Դուք չեք ուզում այն ամենը, ինչ կապված է Ռուսաստանի հետ: Քանի որ սա Հայաստանի ներքին գործն է: Եվ հիմա, երբ ձեր սահմանում պատերազմ է, երբ ձեր ռեժիմի հենց գոյությունը սպառնալիքի տակ է, երբ ամբողջ աշխարհի հայերն արդեն տեսնում են կենդանացած ուրվականներին ծուռ դանակներով, որոնցով սպանել են մեր նախնիներին, հիշեցիք, որ Ռուսաստանը պետք է նորից փրկի ձեզ: Արդյո՞ք սա Հայաստանի ներքին գործը չէ: Վերջին տարիներին Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ ցուցաբերած բոլոր չար ու խեղդող արհամարհանքներից հետո, արդյո՞ք դուք համարում եք, որ իրավունք ունեք սպասել օգնության: Փաստորեն, ձեր արած ամեն ինչից հետո Ռուսաստանն ունի ամեն բարոյական իրավունք ՝ թքել ձեզ վրա և ձեզ ջնջել: Բայց նա դա չի անի: Ես համոզված եմ. Նա կօգնի նաև այս անգամ: Քանի որ Ռուսաստանն այդպիսինն է՝ մեծահոգի և ազնիվ, իմ Ռուսաստանը: Եվ դուք պարզապես մի բուռ աղաղակող քաղաքական գործիչներ եք, ովքեր դավաճանում են մեծ հայ ժողովրդի շահերը մի պահ իշխանության և մանր անձնական վրեժխնդրության համար: Գիշերը կարդացեք Նարեկացի: Գուցե ձեզ մոտ արթնացնեք մնացորդները հայկական բարեխղճության և լավը գնահատելու կարողությունը: Եթե դուք չունեք Նարեկացի, ապա ես ձեզ կփոխանցեմ: Իսկ պատերազմի մասին, ես երկու կողմերին էլ կասեմ մի բան.
