Երեկ կորոնավիրուսից մահացած պատմաբան Համլետ Գևորգյանի քույրը՝ Սիլվա Գևորգյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրառում է կատարել՝ նշելով, որ եղբայրը մահացել է Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ բժշկական կենտրոնի ուրոլոգիայի բաժանմունքի ոչ պրոֆեսիոնալ, ապաշնորհ աշխատանքի հետևանքով:

Դեպքի առնչությամբ մեկնաբանություն ստանալու համար դիմեցինք «Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ» ԲԿ-ի հանրային կապերի պատասխանատու Ծովինար Խաչատրյանին, ով մեզ հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ Համլետ Գևորգյանը Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ բժշկական կենտրոն է ընդունվել հունիսի 19-ի երեկոյան` նոր կորոնավիրուսային հիվանդություն ախտորոշումով.«Կատարվել են անհրաժեշտ կլինիկալաբորատոր գործիքային հետազոտությունները, ախտորոշվել է երկկողմանի թոքաբորբ մինչև 50% շնչական մակերեսի ներգրավմամբ: Հաջորդ օրվանից սկսվել է թիրախային բուժումը: Դինամիկայում զարգացել է սրտի ռիթմի խանգարում, ինչը ծանրացրել է պացիենտի վիճակը և որոշում է կայացվել տեղափոխել ինտենսիվ խնամքի` Վերակենդանացման բաժանմունք: Բաժանմունքում շարունակվել է դեղորայքային բուժումը և օքսիգենիացիայի ցուցանիշների վատացման հետևանքով իրականացվել է թոքերի ոչ ինվազիվ օդափոխանակություն, այնուհետև վիճակով պայմանավորված` անցում է կատարվել թոքերի ինվազիվ օդափոխանակության: Նոր կորոնավիրուսային հիվանդության պրոգրեսիայի պատճառով վիճակը գնալով վատացել և հունիսի 24-ին հանգեցրել է Համլետ Գևորգյանի մահվանը: Նա ունեցել է նաև ուղեկցող հիվանդություններ, մասնավորապես` շաքարային դիաբետ և զարկերակային գերճնշում»։
