Արմավիր քաղաքի բնակչուհի, 41-ամյա Վարդիթեր Հայրապետյանը չի կարողանում հաշտվել այն մտքի հետ, որ, ըստ իր հայտարարության, Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Արմավիրի մարզային քննչական վարչության քննչական բաժնի քննիչ Բաղդասար Կիրակոսյանի թերի և անփույթ քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում իր մինուճար 19-ամյա տղայի՝ Սարգիս Հայրապետյանի մահվան գործով քրեական գործը կարճվել է, իսկ հիմնական կասկածյալն ազատվել է քրեական պատասխանատվությունից. «Ես իմ մինուճարին հետ չեմ բերի, սակայն ուզում եմ, որպեսզի մեղավորն արժանի պատիժ ստանա, քանի որ, եթե այս կատարած հանցանքի համար նա պատասխանատվության չենթարկվի, ապա չկա երաշխիք, որ նույն հանցանքը նրա կողմից չի կատարվի։ Ես դիմում եմ խնդրանքով ՀՀ ոստիկանության պետ, ոստիկանության գեներալ-գնդապետ Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանին, Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի նախագահ Աղվան Հովսեփյանին, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանին, որպեսզի սատար կանգնեն ինձ և իրական մեղավորը պատասխանատվության ենթարկվի։ Եթե նայեք քրեական գործին, կտեսնեք, որ քննիչի կազմած գործն ավելի շատ նման է «Կիկոսի մահ»ին. լրիվ հեքիաթ։ Ցուցմունքները 180 աստիճանով փոխված են, և ես կասկածում եմ, որ մեղքի բաժինն ունի նաև քննիչը։ Քննիչը, օգտվելով իմ չքավոր վիճակից, գործը շիլաշփոթ է արել ու իր միսիան համարելով ավարտված՝ կարճել այն»։
