«Տարոն Ավիա»-ի ղեկավարությունը խոստացել է իրականացնել Գյումրի-Լոս Անջելես չվերթը

«Տարոն Ավիա» ընկերության ղեկավարությունը խոստացել է հետ վերադառնալ Հայաստան: Հայկական ավիաընկերությունը ոչ միայն վերադառնալու, այլ բոլորովին նոր՝ Գյումրի-Լոս Անջելես չվերթն իրականացնելու ցանկության մասին տեղեկացրել է Գյումրու քաղաքապետին:

Գյումրու քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանը այս մասին տեղեկացրեց լրագրողներին՝ տարեվերջյան ասուլիսի ժամանակ՝ նշելով՝ դեռ ժամկետը հստակ չէ, սակայն շատ հարցեր արդեն կարգավորված են:«Ճիշտ է, «Տարոն Ավիա»-ի տնօրինությունը ասել էր՝ գաղտնիք պահեմ, բայց ես լրագրողներից գաղտնիք չունեմ: Ուզում են Գյումրիից ուղիղ Լոս Անջելես ինքնաթիռ թռնի, իսկ մեր օդանավակայանն ունի նման հնարավորություն»:
2017-ի ապրիլի 25-ին օդ բարձրացավ «Տարոն Ավիա» ընկերության առաջին ինքնաթիռը, որը կրում էր Մհեր Մկրտչյանի անունը: Սակայն ընկերության կանոնավոր չվերթերը դադարեցվեցին 2018 թվականի հունվարից:
Գյումրու «Շիրակ» օդանավակայանի հնարավորությունները հաշվի առնելով՝ նախատեսվում է նաև Գյումրիում ստեղծել տարածաշրջանում եզակի ազատ տնտեսական գոտի համարվող լոգիստիկ կենտրոնը: Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանի և իսրայելական «Լոջիստիք ԷՖ ԹԻ ԶԻ» ՍՊԸ-ի միջև լոգիստիկ կենտրոն ստեղծելու մասին կնքվել է փոխըմբռնման հուշագիր:
