«Ինձ համար Դուք նախ եւ առաջ պրոֆեսոր եք, հայագետ». ՀՀ նախագահը հյուրընկալել է Տեր Լեւոն արքեպիսկոպոս Զեքիյանին

ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն այսօր հյուրընկալել է Վենետիկի Մխիթարյան միաբանության քահանայապետական պատվիրակ, Թուրքիայի Հայ Կաթողիկե եկեղեցու թեմի առաջնորդ Գերապայծառ Տեր Լեւոն արքեպիսկոպոս Զեքիյանին: Նրան ուղեկցում էր Հայր Եղիա վարդապետ Քիլաղբջյանը:

Ողջունելով Սրբազանին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահի նստավայրում՝ Արմեն Սարգսյանն ասել է. «Մեր բարեկամությունը երկար տարիների, մի քանի տասնամյակների պատմություն ունի: Մեր առաջին եւ հետագա բոլոր հանդիպումներն իմ հիշողության մեջ առանձնահատուկ օրեր են, իսկ վերջին հանդիպմանը՝ Վիեննայում, մեծ հաճույք էր Ձեզ հետ միասին լինել Մխիթարյան միաբանության պատմական շենքում, այցելել թանգարան»:

Հանրապետության նախագահը բարձր է գնահատել Գերապայծառ Տեր Լեւոն արքեպիսկոպոս Զեքիյանի բեղուն գործունեությունը՝ ուղղված հայ ժողովրդի հոգեւոր, մշակութային ժառանգությունն աշխարհին ճանաչելի դարձնելուն, հայապահպանությանն ու սերունդների կրթությանը: «Ձեր այցելությունը կարեւոր է ոչ միայն հոգեւոր եւ կրոնական, այլ նաեւ՝ մշակութային առումով»,- նշել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը եւ հավելել. «Ինձ համար Դուք նախ եւ առաջ պրոֆեսոր եք, հայագետ, իսկական ուսուցիչ, իսկ հոգեւոր առաջնորդը նախ եւ առաջ պետք է ուսուցիչ լինի: Կարծում եմ՝ կամուրջ եք ոչ միայն Հայաստանի եւ արտերկրում ապրող մեր հայրենակիցների միջեւ, ոչ միայն հայ առաքելական եւ կաթոլիկ եկեղեցիների միջեւ, այլեւ շատ կարեւոր է Ձեր դերը հայ մշակույթի եւ գրականության, հայոց լեզվի պահպանման ու տարածման գործում»:

Գերապայծառ Տեր Լեւոն արքեպիսկոպոս Զեքիյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Հանրապետության նախագահին ջերմ եւ քաջալերող խոսքերի համար՝ ընդգծելով. «Ինձ համար,անշուշտ, մեծ ուրախություն էր նախագահի պաշտոնում Ձեր ընտրությունը: Շատ ուրախացա նախ բարեկամության պատճառով, բայց նաեւ Ձեր անձի համար՝ այս շատ բարձր եւ պատասխանատու պաշտոնին: Ի սրտե, նաեւ բոլոր միաբանների անունից մաղթում եմ, որ Աստծո օրհնությունն ու լույսն անպակաս լինեն Ձեր անձից, Ձեր ընտանիքից եւ Ձեր միջոցով նաեւ բովանդակ երկրից, որպեսզի դժվարությունները հեշտորեն հաղթահարվեն»:

Նախագահը եւ Սրբազանն անդրադարձել են Մխիթարյան միաբանության գործունեությանը, ընդգծել այն անփոխարինելի եւ հսկայական դերակատարությունը, որ հիմնադրվելուց ի վեր ունեցել է Մխիթարյան միաբանությունը՝ աշխարհին հայտնի դառնալով որպես հոգեւոր, ուսումնակրթական, գրական, գիտամշակութային կենտրոն:
