ՀՀ միջազգային հարաբերությունների զարգացման և համագործակցության շրջանակների ընդլայնման հարցում հերթական կարևոր քայլն է արել ԲՀԿ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը: Վերջինս հանդիպել է ՀՀ-ում Հնդկաստանի նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Յ. Սանգվանի հետ:

Հնդկաստանի հետ մեր երկիրը ունի հին ժամանակներից եկած բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների ավանդույթ, որը ավելի զարգացնելու համար նորարական մոտեցումներ էին որոնում Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի ներկայացուցիչները՝ ի դեմս Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի և դեսպան Սանգվանի: Մասնավորոպես դեպանը, ով նոր պաշտոնում առաջին անգամ էր հանդիպում ԲՀԿ առաջնորդի հետ, մեծապես տպավորված էր նրա՝ մեր երկրում ունեցած քաղաքական և տնտեսական դերակատարմաբ, ինչպես նաև ժողովրդի կողմից վայելած հարգանքով ու սիրով: Դեսպանի համար կարևոր էր, թե հայ-հնդկական տնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացման հարցում որ ուղղություններն են կարևորվում Ծառուկյանի կողմից, որոնցով առաջնորդվելով՝ կարելի է հասնել ցանկալի ու տեսանելի արդյունքի:

Երկու ժողովուրդներին, անշուշտ, կապող շատ թելեր կան, բայց Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը մատնանշելով Հնդկաստանում ադամանդագործության և ոսկերչության ինդուստրիան և դրա զարգացվածությունը, հատկապես շեշտը դնում է հենց այս ուղղության վրա՝ մատնանշելով Հայաստանում հանքերի ընձեռնած հնարավորություրնները այս հարցում:
Հնդկաստանի դեսպանը կարևորում է Հայաստանում վերելքների կայացման հարցում Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ղեկավարած քաղաքական թիմի լուրջ դերակատարությունը, և վստահ է, որ նույն դերակատարումը կլինի նաև հայ-հնդկական հարաբերությունների իրականացման գործում: Եվ այդպես էլ կա, քանի որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի տեղեկացմաբ` շուտով նրա իսկ հրավերով Հայաստան են ժամանալու 140 հնդիկ գործարարներ, որոնք հանդիպելու են Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հետ ՝ հայ-հնդկական գործարար կապերի հաստատմանն ուղղված աշխատանքներ իրականացնելու և Հայաստանում ներդրումներ անելու համար: Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը երբեք չի փոխում Հայաստան ներդրումներ բերելու իր քաղաքականությունը: Սա իրապես հիմք է տալիս կարծելու, որ այսպիսի քայլերը լուրջ ներդրումների աղբյուր են հանդիսանաում:
