Ավագ լեյտենանտ Բենիամին Եղոյան. խոցել է հակառակորդի 1 տանկ եւ բազմաթիվ գրոհայինների

Մեր ժամանակի հերոս՝ ավագ լեյտենանտ Բենիամին Եղոյան. Բենիամինը զոհվել է ապրիլի 3-ին: Ավագ լեյտենանտը ռազմական գործողությունների ընթացքում օգնության էր գնացել Ջաբրայիլի զորամաս:

Հակառակորդի կողմից գրավված Ջաբրայիլի Լելե-Թեփե մարտական դիրքում տանկով հակագրոհելու ժամանակ, արհամարհելով հակառակորդի կողմից տարբեր ուղղություններով վարվող ինտենսիվ հրետանային կրակը, տանկիստներ Բենիամին Եղոյանը, Վլադիմիր Ալիխանյանն ու Տիգրան Աբգարյանը դուրս են եկել կրակային բնագծից, առաջ շարժվել դեպի գրոհող թշնամին, հընթացս կրակով խոցել հակառակորդի 1 տանկ եւ բազմաթիվ գրոհայինների: Խոցվել են հակառակորդի կողմից ու զոհվել: Բենիամին Եղոյանը ծառայում էր Ֆիզուլիում, բնակվում էր Մարտունիում: Մայիսին պետք է մի ամսով արձակուրդ գար Երեւան, իսկ օգոստոսին ավարտվում էր ավագ լեյտենանտի պարտադիր ծառայության եռամյա պայմանագրի ժամկետը:

Փոքր հասակից Բենիամինին կոչել են նաեւ երկրորդ անվամբ՝ Մոնթե։ Մերօրյա հերոսը ծնվել է Երեւանում, սովորել է դպրոցում, ապա տեղափոխվել «Փոքր Մհեր» ռազմական կրթահամալիր ու այնտեղ սովորել։ Ապա ընդունվել եւ սովորել է Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական ինստիտուտում։ Մանկուց երազել է զինվորական դառնալ: Զինվորական գործի հանդեպ ունեցած սերը փոխանցվել է հորից՝ Ներսես Եղոյանից:

Երբ Բենիամինին Մոնթե կոչեցին, Մոնթեն դեռեւս կենդանի էր: Մոնթե Եղոյանի հայրը` գնդապետ Ներսես Եղոյանը, որ զինվորականներին հայտնի է Բատյա անունով, արցախյան շարժման մասնակիցներից է, Վազգեն Սարգսյանի ուսանողական ընկերը, եղել է ՀՀ ՊՆ ֆիզպատրաստության բաժնի պետը, բանակում ծառայել է 1995-2011 թթ.: Առողջական խնդիրների պատճառով հիմա նա գամված է սայլակին, կորցրել է ոտքը, ունի նաեւ տեսողական լուրջ խնդիրներ:

Ապրիլյան պատերազմի հերոս, ավագ լեյտենանտ Բենիամին Եղոյանի քույրը՝ Գայանե Եղոյանը, երկար սպասումներից հետո 2017 թվականի հունվարի 28-ին որդի է ունեցել եւ նրան կոչել են քեռու երկրորդ անունով՝ Մոնթե:

Հետմահու պարգեւատրվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության «Մարտական խաչ» առաջին աստիճանի շքանշանով:
