Քլինթ և Մելոդի Էդվարդսները վերջերս ամուսնացան: Նրանք հրաշալի փոքրիկ ունեն, երիտասարդ տղամարդը տան հոգսերն ամբողջովին կիսեց կնոջ հետ:
Մի անգամ Քլինթը մոր հետ էր խոսում՝ միաժամանակ սպասք լվալով: Մայրն անսպասելիորեն հարցրեց՝ արդյոք նրան դժգոհություն չի պատճառում, որ Մելը քիչ ժամանակ է հատկացնում կարգուկանոնի պահպանմանը:

Երիտասարդի հայրն ասում էր, որ պետք է աղջկա մոտ գնալ առանց զգուշացնելու և տեսնել, թե որքան խնամված է նրա տունը: Բայց Քլինթը նախընտրեց ամուսնանալ սիրած կնոջ հետ:

Իր բլոգում Էդվարդսը գրեց. «Ես չէի մտածում մաքրության մասին, երբ Մելին առաջարկում էի ամուսնանալ: Ես մատծում էի այն մասին, թե նա որքան իամստուն և հրաշալի է խոսում, որքան նրբորեն է զգում ինձ և իմ տրամադրությունը, որքան հուզիչ է ժպտում: Ահա, թե ինչն էր նրա մեջ ինձ դուր գալիս: Եվ նա դարձավ լավագույն մայրն իմ երեխաների համար, որի մասին միայն կարելի է երազել»:

Նա գտավ միակ ճիշտ պատասխանը մոր հարցին. «Ես ամուսնացա ոչ թե որովհետև ուզում եմ կյանքս մաքրության մեջ անցկացնել: Ես ուզում եմ այն ապրել հենց այս կնոջ հետ»:

Քլինթի մայրը կարճ լռությունից հետո ասաց, որ դա իսկապես ավելի կարևոր է:
