Բենզալցակայանում սիրահարների միջև «կոպիտ սեքսը» ողբերգական ավարտ է ունեցել

Հետաքննության համաձայն մեղադրյալը բռնաբարել, այնուհետև սպանել է սիրելիին:

22-ամյա Մարկ Հաորթոնը մեղադրվում է 19-ամյա Քեյլի Մանդադիի սպանության եւ բռնաբարության մեջ: Զույգը հանդիպում էր ընդամենը  չորս շաբաթ: Հիմա տղան գտնվում է կալանքի տակ, նշանակվել  է 225 հազար դոլարի գրավ:

Ողբերգության օրը զույգը Սան Անտոնիո քաղաքի Մալա Լունայի երաժշտական փառատոնում էր, որտեղ նրանք օգտագործում էին թմրամիջոցներ եւ ալկոհոլ: Այնուհետև սիրահարները վիճեցին, սակայն Քեյլին  համաձայնեց գնալ նրա հետ Հյուսթոն. Ճանապարհին նրանք կանգ առան բենզալցակայանում, որտեղ  փոխադարձ համաձայնությամբ  կոպիտ սեքսով զբաղվեցին: Տղայի պնդմամբ՝ Քեյլիի վզի վրայի կապտուկները հենց դրա հետևանքն են:

Մարկի վկայության համաձայն, աղջիկն ասել է, որ լավ չէ զգում եւ քնել է  մեքենայի ետևի  նստատեղին: Շուտով երիտասարդը նկատել է, որ աղջիկը չի շնչում եւ նրան տեղափոխել է հիվանդանոց: Հետաքննության ընթացքում ոստիկանությունը  ավտոմեքենայում  գտել է  ներքնազգեստ եւ կոշիկներ, որոնք հանգեցրել են այն մտքին, որ Քեյլին չէր  պատրաստվում որեւէ ուղեւորություն կատարել: Բացի դրանից, բժիշկները եզրակացրել են, որ  հայտնաբերված վնասվածքները չեն կարող լինել սեռական ակտի հետևանք:

Մարկը եւ Քեյլին ծանոթ  էին արդեն  ութ տարի , սակայն որոշել էին  հանդիպել սպանությունից ընդամենը չորս շաբաթ առաջ: Մարկի ընկերները նշել են, որ նախկինում երիտասարդը ևս դիմել է բռնության:
