Թշնամի երկիր արտագաղթած ու մշտական բնակություն հաստատած դերասանուհի Մարիամ Մելիքյանը փիլիսոփայական տողեր էր հրապարակել, որոնց «մեխն էր» փողի նպատակ դառնալը ։ Մարիամի կարծիքով դա սխալ բան է, բայց իրականություն է։

Մարիամի գրառումը զարմանալի է , քանի որ իր համար փողը ժամանակին լավ նպատակ էր ու փողի համար նա իր դերասանական կարիերայի ընթացքում ամեն ինչ արել է։
Չմոռանանք, որ նա այն առաջին դերասանուհիներից էր, ով խաղաց սիտքոմում որպես քարտուղարուհի, հայերի համար ամենաընդունելի «քարտուղարուհու» կերպարով։Նա առաջիններից էր, ով հեռուստատեսությամբ սկսեց ցուցադրել ավելին քան պետք էր ։
