Հին Եգիպտոսի այս ավանդույթները ձեզ շոկի կենթարկեն

Եգիպտական քանդակի վիրտուոզ վարպետները չեն մեռցրել, այլ բացահայտել են քարի բնական հատկությունները՝ կարծրությունը՝ ծանրությունը, կայունությունը՝ նյութի սկզբնական ստրուկտուրան թողնելով նշմարելի։ Ծավալներն ընդհանրացված են, անցումները՝ հարթված։ Հագուստների մանրակրկիտ կատարված տարրերը, գլխարկ-թագերը, ոսկերչական զարդարանքները դեկորատիվ դեր են կատարում։ Մ․թ․ա 15-րդ դարին ստեղծված Տաթշեփսուտ թագուհու տաճարը (ճարտարապետ Սենմուտ) Դեյր-էլ-Բահարիում տարածության մեջ ընդարձակվող ճարտարապետական համալիր է՝ բաղկացած երկու դարավանդային հարկերից, պորտիկներով, սյունաշարով կազմված չծածկված գավթից և վիմափոր սրբարանից։ Այստեղ քիվերը և նախադորիական սյուները խիստ, բանական կարգորոշվածությամբ համադրվում են ժայռերի խառնիխուռն պատկերին, մեղմ և նրբագեղ արձանները, ռելիեֆները և որմնապատկերները տաճարին հաղորդում են լուսավորություն և ներդաշնակ պարզություն։ Որմնանկարներին բնորոշ է մտերմիկ քնարականությունը, շարժումների և դիրքերի ազատություևը, գունահարաբերումների նրբություևը։ Խնջույքների, տոնախմբությունների, որսի տեսարանները պատկերվել են բնապատկերի ֆոնի վրա։ Տատկապես մեծ տեղ էր տրվում լուսաստվերի նրբին խաղով խորաքանդակին (Տաթշեփսուտ թագուհու տաճարի ռելիեֆները, մ․ թ․ ա․ 15-րդ դարի սկիզբ)։ Կիսավիմափորի հետ մեկտեղ տարածվում են «բաց» տիպի տաճար-սրբարանները։ Սրանք, որպես կանոն, բաղկացած են սյունաշարով կազմված չծածկված գավթից, լոտոսա-պապիրուսաձև խոյակներով մոնումենտալ սյունաշարերից, որոնց հետևում է աստվածևերի արձաններով տաճարը։ Երկու մեծաչափ մույթեր (պիլոևևեր) ձևաստեղծում են մուտքը, որի առջևում օբելիսկն է և աստվածևերի կամ փարավոնների արձաններ։ Դեպի տաճարն է բերում սֆիևքսարդ ուղին։ Տաճարի որմերը զարդարվում են փարավոնների զինհաղթությունների տեսարաններով (Ամոն-Ռա աստծո տաճարը Կառնակում, Լուքսորում)։ էխնաթոն փարավոնի տիրակալության ժամանակ հին աստվածների պաշտամունքը փոխարինվում է Աթոն (պատկերվում էր արնի սկավառակի ձնով) աստծով։ Հիմնարկվում է Եգիպտոսի նոր մայրաքաղաքը՝ Ախեթաթոնը։ Հին եգիպտական արվեստի վերջին ծաղկումը եղել է, այսպես կոչված, Սայիսյան դինաստիայի (մ․ թ․ ա․ 7-րդ դար) կարճատև ժամանակաշրջանում։
