Վարորդը բարկացավ, երբ իր մեքենային հետևից խփեցին. Բայց հետո ճանապարհին ինչ-որ բան նկատեց…

Առանց կորուստների ավտոմոբիլային վթարից ոչ ոքի չի հաջողվել ազատվել: Վատագույն դեպքում մարդիքկ պատահարի համար վճարում են առողջությամբ կամ կյանքով, լավագույն դեպքում՝գումարով: Հաճախ անգամ ստիպված ես լինում լրացուցիչ վճարել նաև նյարդերով, բայց պատահում են նաև իրականում հուզիչ պատմություններ, ինչպիսին սա է.

Դա պատահեց Ֆիլիպիններում: Սաիդ Օմար Մորալես Ահմեդի մեքենային հետևից ինչ-որ մեկը հարվածեց: Օրվա այդպիսի սկիզբից ոչ մի լավ բան չէր սպասվում: Լինելով երկու երեխայի հայր, նրան վերանորոգման և այլ լրացուցիչ չնախատեսված ծախսերը այնքան էլ չէին ուրախացնում:

Բայց ամեն ինչ փոխվեց, երբ Սաիդը տեսավ, թե ով է հարվածել իր մեքենային: Դա հին մոտոցիկլի վարորդ էր, որը հսկայական պարկով բրինձ էր տեղափեխում իր բազմանդամ ընտանիքին կերակրելու համար:

Դժբախտ տղամարդը ձկնորս էր, նա վախեցած ու շփոթված էր: Վթարի հետևանքով նրա կրած վնասները շատ ավելի մեծ էին: Նրա տեղափոխած ամբողջ բրինձը թափվել էր ճանապարհին: Պարզ էր, որ նա ոչ միայն չի կարողանա փոխհատուցել վթարի ժամանակ հասցված վնասը, այլ նաև նրա ընտանիքը այդ երեկո ուտելիք չի ունենա: Մինչև ոստիկանությունը դեպքի վայր կհասներ, Սաիդը իր ընտրությունը կատարել էր.

Հարցը լուծեցին խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Իսկ հրաժեշտին Մորալեսը ձկնորսին փող տվեց, որ նորից բրինձ գնի: Խեղճ մոտոցիկլիստը երջանկությունից 7-րդ երկնքում էր.

Նա այնքան էր զգացված անծանոթ վարորդի վերաբերմունքից, որ անգամ լաց եղավ: Սաիդը միայն համեստորեն նկատեց,-«Ցանկացած կորցրած ապրանք կարելի փոխարինել, բայց կորցրած հարգանքն ու սերը ոչնչով չես փոխարինի»: Սաիդի խոսքերով դա նրան իր տատիկն ու պապիկն են սովորեցրել և որ իր արարքում հերոսական ոչինչ չկա…
