Վիտիմ գետի վրայով անցնող կամուրջը համարվում է աշխարհում ամենավտանգավոր երթևեկելի կամուրջը: Չնայած նրան, որ կամուրջը կառուցվել է 30 տարի առաջ, այն դեռ ոչ մի անգամ չի վերանորոգվել: Կամուրջն այնքան վտանգավոր է, որ նույնիսկ ամենափորձառու վարորդները շատ մեծ դժվարությամբ են հաղթահարում այն:

Կամրջի երկարությունը 500 մետր է, իսկ լայնությունը համապատասխանում է ավտոմեքենաների անվային բազայի լայնության հետ: Նման էքստրեմալ պայմաններում, իրավիճակն էլ ավելի է բարդացնում ուժեղ քամին, որի պատճառով կամրջի վրա գտնվող մեքենաների ապակիները հաճախ իջեցվում են, քամու ուժգնությունը հնարավորինս թեթևացնելու նպատակով:

Կուանդա գյուղը, որտեղ գտնվում է կամուրջը, նախկինում համարվել է «ԲԱՄ-ի փոքր մայրաքաղաքը», իսկ այժմ, ինչպես շատ հեռավոր բնակավայրերում, այնտեղ կյանքն աստիճանաբար մեռնում է: Կամուրջը բազմաթիվ անգամներ հրդեհի է մատնվել և դեռևս ոչ մի անգամ չի վերանորոգվել:
