Այսօր՝ հունվարի 15-ին, դաժան ու ողբերգական դեպք է տեղի ունեցել Երևանում: Ժամը 10:00-ի սահմաններում ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Նազարբեկյան 22 շենքի հարևանությամբ գտնվող ավտոտնակներից մեկում 3 երիտասարդի դի կա: Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, օպերատիվորեն ժամանել է ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ բաժնի պետ Գրիշա Ամիրխանյանի և բաժի պետի օպերգծով տեղակալ Ալեքսանդր Հակոբյանի գլխավորությամբ: Քիչ առաջ դեպքի վայր են ժամանել Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Երևան քաղաքի Աջափնյակ և Դավիթաշեն վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնի մեծ թվով քննիչներ ՝ բաժնի պետի տեղակալ Արման Բաղդասարյանի գլխավորությամբ, իսկ նույն քննչական բաժնի պետ Սահակ Գրիգորյանը մեկնեց հիվանդանոց, քանի որ մահացածերից մեկի դին տեղափոխել են Արմենիա բժշկական կենտրոն: Նշված ավտոտնակում ոստիկաններն ու քննիչները հայտնաբերել են Volkswagen Passat մակնիշի 71 RT 071 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենա: 

Մահացածերից 2-ը եղել են ավտոմեքենայում, մեկն էլ՝ հատակին: 3-ն էլ երիտասարդ տղաներ են: Ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների՝ նրանք մահացել են շմոլ գազի հետևանքով, քան որ ավտոտնակում ուժեղ հոտ էր տարածվել, հավանաբար, մեքենան շարժի դնելու ժամանակ: Մաշտոցի ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական բաժինը պարզում են մահացածների ինքնությունը: Դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածներն ասում էին, որ մահացածներից 2-ը եղբայրներ են, իսկ մեկն էլ աշխատում էր փրկարար:

Քիչ առաջ ֆոտոլրագրողը հայտնեց, որ ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժնի ծառայողները՝ բաժնի պետ Գ. Ամիրխանյանի գլխավորությամբ և Երևան քաղաքի քննչական վարչության Աջափնյակ և Դավիթաշեն վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնի քննիչները՝ բաժնի պետ Ս. Գրիգորյանի գլխավորությամբ պարզել են մահացածների ինքնությունը: Նրանք են. Ջերմուկ քաղաքում հաշվառված, ժամանակավորապես Երևան քաղաքի Նազարբեկյան 22 շենքում բնակվող, 23-ամյա Գարիկ Ստեփանյանը և հարազատ եղբայրներ, Աշտարակ քաղաքի Նարեկ 3 թաղամասի բնակիչներ, 21-ամյա Արտյոմ Սարկիսովն ու 25-ամյա Արթուր Սարկիսովը:
