Երեկ «Նորք Մարաշի» զինված խմբի» գործով դատական նիստն էր, եւ, ինչպես տեղեկացրել ենք, զինված խմբի ղեկավար Արթուր Վարդանյանը նիստի ավարտից հետո բղավեց, որ ինչքան էլ փորձեն իրենց ոչնչացնել, չի՛ ստացվելու: Aravot.am-ը զրուցեց Արթուր Վարդանյանի պաշտպան Լեւոն Բաղդասարյանի հետ: Մեր հարցին՝ ԱԱԾ-ն հրավիրած ասուլիսում հստակ ուղղությունները նշեց, թե ինչպիսի հեղաշրջման փորձ են ուզել անել զինված խմբի անդամները, հետեւել են պատգամավորներին, առաջին, երկրորդ եւ երրորդ նախագահներին, ինքնաթիռն են ուզել պայթեցնել եւ այլն, Արթուր Վարդանյանն ընդունո՞ւմ է այդ մեղադրանքները: Նա պատասխանեց. «Միանշանակ, չեն ընդունվում: Ավելին՝ իրավաբանության մեջ կա հետեւյալ տերմինը՝ անգամ ենթադրյալ մտադրության բացահայտումը հանցագործություն չէ, չի կարող համարվել»: Մեր հարցին՝ բայց ընդունո՞ւմ եք , որ նման ծրագրեր ունեցել են՝ նա պատասխանեց. «Միանշանակ չի եղել, եղել է ընդամենը կոնկրետ գործառույթ՝ Հայաստանը հզորացնելու ուղղությամբ՝ օրենքով սահմանված կարգով եւ չարգելված եղանակներով»: Մենք ուսումնասիրել ենք Արթուր Վարդանյանի ֆեյսբուքյան էջը եւ այն տեսագրությունները, որոնք տեղադրված էին այդ կայքում: Արթուր Վարդանյանը խոսում է ներքին թշնամուն հաղթելու մասին, ասում, որ եթե իրեն բանտ նետեն, սպանեն էլ, իր համար միեւնույն է, այս իշխանությունները պետք է վերանան եւ այլն: Մեր հարցին՝ Արթուր Վարդանյանը զուտ իշխանափոխությո՞ւն է ուզել, ոչ թե ահաբեկչության նպատակ է դրել՝ Լեւոն Բաղդասարյանը պատասխանեց. «Բացարձակ: Վերջինիս ցանկությունը ընդամենը եղել է համընդհանուր ուժերով հասնել ազատ, անկախ Հայաստանի եւ ՀՀ-ի հզոր քաղաքացու կայացման գործառույթ իրականացնելը: Դա ոչ մի առնչություն չունի ահաբեկչության հետ, ահաբեկչական փորձ չի եղել բացարձակ»:
