ԱՄՆ ֆիննախը ցանկանում է Թրամփի պատկերով 250 դոլարանոց թղթադրամ թողարկել․ WP

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի պաշտոնյաները պնդում են, որ շրջանառության մեջ դրվի նոր՝ 250 դոլարանոց թղթադրամ, որի վրա պատկերված կլինի հենց ինքը՝ Ամերիկայի առաջնորդը։ Եթե գաղափարը կյանքի կոչվի, Թրամփը կդառնա վերջին 150 տարվա մեջ առաջին մարդը, ում պատկերը դեռ կենդանության օրոք կհայտնվի դոլարի վրա։ Այս մասին հայտնում է The Washington Post (WP) թերթը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին։

Լրատվամիջոցի տեղեկություններով՝ այս նախաձեռնության հեղինակները Գանձապետարանի պատասխանատու պաշտոնյա Բրենդոն Բիչն ու նրա խորհրդական Մայք Բրաունն են։ Նրանք ամեն կերպ ճնշում են գործադրում Փորագրության և տպագրության բյուրոյի վրա, որպեսզի թղթադրամն օր առաջ թողարկվի։ Պաշտոնյաներն արդեն իսկ ներկայացրել են նոր փողի էսքիզները. դրանցից մեկի կենտրոնում Թրամփի դեմքն է, իսկ կողքին՝ իր և Ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենտի ստորագրությունները։ Էսքիզի հեղինակը՝ բրիտանացի նկարիչ Իեն Ալեքսանդրը, թերթի հետ զրույցում հաստատել է այս լուրը և պատմել, որ նույնիսկ անձամբ քննարկել է Թրամփի հետ դիզայնի փոփոխությունները՝ առաջարկելով ավելացնել ամերիկյան դրոշի գույներն ու ԱՄՆ հիմնադրման 250-ամյակի լոգոն։

Նշենք, որ 1866 թվականից ի վեր Ամերիկայի արժույթի վրա ոչ մի ողջ մարդ չի պատկերվել (վերջինը եղել է Գանձապետարանի մի պաշտոնյա, ում դեմքը տպվել էր 5 ցենտանոցի վրա)։ Օրինագիծը, որը թույլ կտա Թրամփի պատկերով փող տպել, ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի սեղանին է դեռ 2025 թվականից։ WP-ն ընդգծում է, որ Տպագրության բյուրոյի աշխատակիցները բազմիցս զգուշացրել են, որ բազմաթիվ իրավական ու ընթացակարգային նրբություններից ելնելով, նոր թղթադրամի տպագրությունը կարող է բավականին երկար տևել։

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ Ֆինանսների նախարարությունը հայտարարել էր, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների հիմնադրման 250-ամյակի առթիվ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի և ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենտի ստորագրությունները կհայտնվեն դոլարների վրա։ Սա պատմության մեջ առաջին դեպքը կլինի, երբ ամերիկյան արժույթի վրա կդրվի գործող նախագահի ստորագրությունը։

1776 թվականին ընդունված Անկախության հռչակագրով Միացյալ Նահանգներն ազատագրվել է Բրիտանական կայսրության տիրապետությունից։ Կոնգրեսն այն ընդունել էր հուլիսի 2-ին Ֆիլադելֆիայում, իսկ երկու օր անց՝ հուլիսի 4-ին, հաստատել էր փաստաթղթի վերջնական տարբերակն ու հանձնարարել տպագրել ու տարածել այն ժողովրդի մեջ։ Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ հուլիսի 4-ը համարվում է ԱՄՆ հիմնադրման օրը։
