Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ի սիրելի բեյսբոլի թիմը երկրպագուներին նվիրում է «պապական» «White Sox» գլխարկներ

Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ը անսպասելի և խիստ օրիգինալ նվեր է ստացել իր սիրելի բեյսբոլի թիմից՝ Չիկագո «White Sox»-ից։

Թիմը հայտարարել է, որ ի պատիվ պապի աջակցության, նրանք «White Sox»-ի ոճով գլխարկներ կնվիրեն բոլոր նրանց, որոնք կգնեն օգոստոսի 11-ին «Ցինցինատի Ռեդս»-ի դեմ խաղի տոմսերի փաթեթ։ Գլխարկները կրողները կզբաղեցնեն հատուկ բաժիններ, իսկ գլխարկն ինքնին՝ սև և կանաչ միտրան, հիշեցնում է պատարագի ժամանակ կրվող ավանդական պապական գլխարկը։

70-ամյա Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ը բազմիցս ցույց է տվել իր սերը թիմի նկատմամբ. Վատիկանում իր շաբաթական լսումների ժամանակ նա նորապսակ զույգից նվեր՝ «White Sox»-ի գլխարկ է ընդունել։ Լուսանկարները արագ տարածվել են սոցիալական ցանցերում՝ մեծ իրարանցում առաջացնելով։

Հռոմի պապը ծնվել և մեծացել է Չիկագոյի արվարձան Դոլթոնում և վաղուց «White Sox»-ի երկրպագու է։ Նա նույնիսկ մասնակցել է 2005 թվականի Համաշխարհային սերիայի բացման խաղին «Հյուստոն Աստրոս»-ի դեմ։ 2026 թվականի մարտին թիմի երկրպագուն, Հռոմում հանդիպելով Հռոմի պապին, բացականչել է. «Աստված օրհնի «White Sox»-ին, և Լևոն XIV-ը նրան բարյացակամորեն բարձրացրել է բութ մատը։ Այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր Հռոմի պապը մի քանի անգամ նկատվել է թիմի հագուստով, այդ թվում՝ պաշտոնական գլխարկներով։

2025 թվականի հունիսին նա կրկին հայտնվել է «White Sox»-ի գլխարկով Վատիկանում կայացած լսարանի ժամանակ, ինչը վիրուսային իրարանցում առաջացրեց սոցիալական ցանցերում։ «Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ը ներկայացնում է իր սիրելի թիմը», - գրել է թիմը Instagram-ում։
