«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման տելեգրամյան ալիքը գրում է.

Սիրելի՛ կանայք, մայրեր և քույրեր․

Ընդունեք իմ ամենաջերմ ու սրտագին շնորհավորանքները` Մայրության և գեղեցկության տոնի առթիվ: Գարնանային այս գեղեցիկ օրը պատեհ առիթ է` երախտիքի, գնահատանքի ու մեծարանքի խոսքեր հղելու Ձեզ և արժևորելու Ձեր անգնահատելի դերն ընտանիքում, աշխատավայրում և հանրային կյանքում:

Ամեն տարի ապրիլի 7-ին Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին նշում է Ս. Մարիամ Աստվածածնի Ավետման տոնը, որը եզակի խորհուրդ ունի, և իզուր չէ, որ այն կոչում ենք նաև Մայրության և գեղեցկության տոն։

Բնությունը կնոջն է պարգևել մայրանալու մեծագույն շնորհը, որը հնարավորություն է տալիս մեզ` շրջապատող աշխարհում անընդհատ առնչվել աստվածային արարման բերկրանքին: Յուրաքանչյուրիս համար մայրական աղոթքով ու օրհնանքով է սկսվում ամեն մի նախաձեռնություն ու նրանով է ոչ միայն չափվում, այլև զարգանում ու տարածվում բարին, լավն ու գեղեցիկը:

Մեզ համար «Մայր» հասկացությունը մշտապես նվիրական է եղել: Հայրենիքը կոչում ենք Մայր հայրենիք, մեր Եկեղեցին կոչում ենք Մայր եկեղեցի, լեզուն` մայրենի, և կարևորագույն քաղաքը կոչում ենք մայրաքաղաք:

Դեռեւս 5-րդ դարում պատմագիր Եղիշեն ասել է. «Տվեք ինձ կիրթ եւ խելացի մայրեր՝ ես ձեզ կտամ կիրթ ու խելացի հասարակություն»։ Իսկ 20-րդ դարի ռազմական, պետական գործիչ, իմաստասեր Գարեգին Նժդեհը բանաձեւել է. «Մայրերի ափի մեջ պիտի փնտրել ազգերի ճակատագիրը»։

Կնոջ կեցվածքով է պայմանավորված մարդկային հարաբերությունների ներդաշնակությունը, ընտանիքի ամրությունն ու երջանկությունը: Հատկապես ընտանիքներում մոր հանդեպ տածած անսահման սերը, նվիրվածությունն ու մեծարանքը մեր ազգային նկարագիրը ձեւավորող անկյունաքարերից են։ Մեծարել կնոջը՝ նշանակում է արժեւորել, գնահատել, նկատելի դարձնել նրա առաքինություններն ու արժանիքները, որի պարագայում «կփոքրանան» արատներն ու թերությունները։

Տոնի առթիվ շնորհավորում եմ բոլոր կանանց ու մայրերին, մաղթում քաջառողջություն, անսպառ ուժ ու եռանդ՝ բարին ստեղծելու և գեղեցիկն արարելու համար, նրանց ընտանիքներին բարօրություն, կանացի հմայք ու գեղեցկություն: Երջանի՛կ եղեք:
