16-ամյա Թուփաք Շաքուրի հազվագյուտ աուդիոձայնագրությունը աճուրդի է հանվել

Wax Poetics-ը մեկնարկել է եզակի աճուրդ՝ նվիրված պրոդյուսեր և նկարիչ Ge-ology-ի անձնական հավաքածուին: Ուշադրության կենտրոնում է Թուփաք Շաքուրի ամենավաղ հայտնի ձայնագրություններից մեկը, որը կատարվել է մոտավորապես 1988 թվականին, երբ նա ընդամենը տասնվեց տարեկան էր:

Ձայնագրությունը, որը կատարվել է Ge-ology-ի ընտանեկան տանը՝ Բալթիմորում, ներառում է Թուփաքի, որն այն ժամանակ հայտնի էր որպես MC New York, ակապելլա կատարումը՝ Born Busy խմբի անդամների հետ: Հավաքածուն ներառում է ոչ միայն հազվագյուտ ժապավենը, այլև ձեռագիր տեքստեր և լուսանկարներ առօրյա կյանքից՝ բակերից, դպրոցական միջոցառումներից և երեկույթներից: Նշանակալից ցուցանմուշներից մեկը 1988 թվականի շրջանավարտի ստորագրված պաստառն է, որը պատրաստվել է խորովածի ժամանակ՝ Ge-ology-ի Նյու Յորք տեղափոխվելուց կարճ ժամանակ առաջ։

Ge-ology-ն ընդգծում է այս իրերի պատմական արժեքը. «Սա ներկայացման կամ թողարկման համար նախատեսված ձայնագրություն չէր: Մենք ձայնագրեցինք ակապելլա, որպեսզի ես կարողանայի ուսումնասիրել հանգերը և ստեղծել դրանց համար ռիթմեր: Այս ժապավենը Թուփաքի առաջին փաստաթղթերից մեկն է, որը պատրաստվել է նախքան աշխարհը նրան ճանաչեր: Ես այն պահպանել եմ տասնամյակներ շարունակ, և հիմա ժամանակն է այն ներկայացնել որպես պատմության մի կտոր»:

Wax Poetics-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Ալեքս Բրուի խոսքով. «Երբ խոսքը վերաբերում է երաժշտության հավաքագրմանը, Թուփաքը գագաթնակետն է»: «Այն փաստը, որ այս ժապավենը և իրերը թվագրվում են նրա նախահանրաճանաչ տարիներին և տրամադրվել են նրա մանկության ընկեր Ge-ology-ի կողմից, դրանք դարձնում է բացառիկ հազվագյուտ և արժեքավոր: Մեզ համար պատիվ է ներկայացնել դրանք և ցուցադրել Թուփաքի պատմության ավելի քիչ հայտնի մասը»:
