Բաքվում գտնվող գերիների ազատ արձակման հարցը հնարավոր էր լուծել Թրամփի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ. Կամ հարցը չի բարձրացվել, կամ լավ չի բարձրացվել. Էդմոն Մարուքյան

Ես կարծում եմ, որ Բաքվում գտնվող գերիների և պատանդառված անձանց հարցը հնարավոր էր լուծել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Թրամփի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ՝ օգոստոսի 8-ին, սակայն այն չի լուծվել։ Քանի որ չի լուծվել, հետևաբար հարցը լավ չի բարձրացվել կամ չի բարձրացվել առհասարակ, չգիտեմ։ Այս մասին «Փաստինֆո»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Հատուկ հանձնարարություններով նախկին դեսպան, «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» կուսակցության ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանը։

Նշենք, որ ադրբեջանցի մեղադրողը պահանջել է ցմահ ազատազրկման դատապարտել Արցախի ռազմաքաղաքական հինգ ղեկավարների՝ Արցախի նախկին նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանին, Պաշտպանության բանակի նախկին հրամանատար Լևոն Մնացականյանին, Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Դավիթ Իշխանյանին, Պաշտպանության բանակի հրամանատարի նախկին տեղակալ Դավիթ Մանուկյանին և նախկին արտգործնախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանին։

Արցախի նախկին նախագահներ Բակո Սահակյանին և Արկադի Ղուկասյանին Ադրբեջանի գլխավոր դատախազի ավագ օգնականը պահանջել է դատապարտել 20 տարվա ազատազրկման՝ նրանց տարիքով պայմանավորված։ Ադրբեջանի քրեական օրենսգիրքը թույլ չի տալիս նախկին նախագահներին ցմահ դատապարտել, քանի որ նրանք արդեն հատել են 65 տարին։

Մարուքյանը հիշեցրեց, որ օգոստոսի 8-ի հանդիպման ժամանակ նախագահ Թրամփը խոսել է այդ մասին․ «Ասում էր, որ եթե ես Ալիևին ասեմ՝ նա չի մերժի, բայց դրանից հետո ասում է Ալիևին, որ գերիներին ազատեն, թե չի ասում՝ մենք դա չենք տեսնում։ Մենք չենք տեսնում որևէ հայտարարություն Հայաստանի կողմից, հետևաբար հարցը մնում է չլուծված։ Եթե հարցով զբաղվում են՝ ուրեմն անարդյունավետ է, որովհետև հարցը լուծված չէ»։

Անդրադառնալով Բաքվի դատախազության պահանջած պատժաչափերին՝ նա ընդգծեց, որ շատ կարևոր էր, որ Հայաստանը հանդես գար հայտարարություններով, բայց մենք տեսնում ենք, որ չկա որևէ հայտարարություն, և գործընթացը չի կատարվում․ «Իմ տպավորությամբ՝ մենք հանդուրժում ենք Ադրբեջանում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացը։ Սա շատ վատ օրինակ է պետության կողմից՝ քաղաքացուն պաշտպանելու և արյունակիցներին պաշտպանելու համատեքստում»։

Հարցին, թե արդյոք սա նշանակում է, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները հաշտ են այս պրոցեսի հետ, Մարուքյանը պատասխանեց, որ եթե անգամ իշխանությունները զբաղվում են, նրանք արդյունավետ չեն զբաղվում, հետևաբար չկա ոչ մի արդյունք։

Դիտարկմանը, թե դատավճիռների կայացումից հետո որքանով հնարավոր կլինի այս մարդկանց վաղաժամկետ վերադարձը, նա պատասխանեց, որ դատավճիռները լինելուց հետո նրանց ազատ արձակվելու միակ տարբերակը Ադրբեջանի նախագահի կողմից ներման գործընթացով ազատ արձակվելն է։ «Միջազգային փորձը ցույց է տալիս, որ դատավճիռը ոչինչ չի փոխում, եթե կա քաղաքական կամք՝ մարդուն ազատ արձակելու, և եթե կան բանակցողներ, և կա աշխատանք, ապա հարցը լուծվում է»։
