Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային խորհուրդը դատապարտում է Հայաստանում հոգևորականների հալածանքը․ միջազգային լուրջ ազդակ իշխանություններին

Ավստրիայում գործող Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային խորհուրդը (World Council of Churches – Austria) պաշտոնական հայտարարությամբ խստորեն քննադատել է Հայաստանի իշխանությունների կողմից Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու հանդեպ կիրառվող ճնշումները և հոգևորականների ձերբակալությունները։ Խորհուրդը հստակորեն հայտնել է իր լիակատար համերաշխությունը Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցուն և Հայաստանի ամբողջ քրիստոնեական համայնքին։

«Բարձրաստիճան եկեղեցական պաշտոնյաների ձերբակալությունները, կալանավորումները և դատավճիռները հստակ մարտահրավեր են կրոնական ազատությանը։ Նման միջոցառումները կամայական և անհիմն միջամտություն են եկեղեցու գործունեությանը և կարող են դիտվել որպես հարձակում կրոնական համայնքի վրա», — ընդգծված է կազմակերպության հայտարարությունում։

Այս հայտարարությունը կարևոր միջազգային ազդակ է, քանի որ Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային խորհուրդը համարվում է քրիստոնեական աշխարհի հեղինակավոր հարթակներից մեկը, որի հայտարարությունները հաճախ ձևավորում են միջազգային վերաբերմունքի ուղղությունը կրոնական ազատությունների խախտումների նկատմամբ։

Խորհուրդը փաստում է, որ Հայաստանում իրավիճակը դուրս է գալիս հոգևոր դաշտի սահմաններից՝ վերածվելով ազատ խղճի և քաղաքացիական իրավունքների խնդրի։ Հիշեցնենք, որ վերջին ամիսներին ձերբակալվել և հետապնդվել են ոչ միայն հոգևորականներ, այլև նրանք, ովքեր պաշտպանում են եկեղեցին։

Բարերար և խոշոր գործարար Սամվել Կարապետյանի նկատմամբ իրականացվող քրեական ճնշումները լայնորեն մեկնաբանվում են որպես իշխանությունների հակաեկեղեցական քաղաքականության շարունակություն։ Կարապետյանը հրապարակավ հանդես էր գալիս Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու պաշտպանությամբ, ինչից հետո սկսվեց նրա նկատմամբ իրավական հետապնդումը։

Ավստրիայից հնչած այս հայտարարությունը ընդգծում է, որ միջազգային հանրությունը ուշի ուշով հետևում է Հայաստանի իշխանությունների քայլերին։ Կրոնական ազատությունների ոտնահարումը կարող է վերածվել ոչ միայն միջազգային քաղաքական ու իրավական քննադատության, այլև ազդել երկրի հեղինակության և արտաքին հարաբերությունների վրա։

Այժմ ակնհայտ է, որ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին միայնակ չէ․ նրա կողքին կանգնում են միջազգային կառույցներ, որոնք պահանջում են հարգել հոգևոր ազատությունը և դադարեցնել եկեղեցու դեմ ուղղված քաղաքական հետապնդումները։
