Պետք է մի պարզ բան հասկանալ՝ վերջապես և ընդմիշտ․ Մհեր Ավետիսյան

Մհեր Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
 
Ցանկացած քայլ, ցանկացած գործողություն, որը իրականացնում է Հայաստանը Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու կամ Ռուսաստանից կտրվելու նպատակով, ողջունվելու և խրախուսվելու է Ադրբեջանի, Թուրքիայի, Վրաստանի և Իրանի թուրքական քաղաքական շրջանակների կողմից, քանի որ այս բոլոր ուժերը հասկանում են, որ չեն կարող դիպչել Հայաստանին, եթե Հայաստանը Ռուսաստանի հետ է, չեն կարող տարածաշրջանում փոխել որևէ սահման կամ քաղաքական գործընթաց, եթե Հայաստանը Ռուսաստանի կողքին է և տարածաշրջանը կառուցված է ռուսական անվտանգության ճարտարապետության վրա։
 
Եթե Հայաստանը ցանկանում է քանդել այդ ճարտարապետությունը կամ հեռանալ Ռուսաստանից, ապա տարածաշրջանային պետությունները միայն ուրախ կլինեն և խրախուսելու են, որպեսզի Հայաստանը շատ հեռանա Ռուսաստանից և մեն-մենակ մնա բոլոր տարածաշրջանային պետությունների դիմաց՝ իր բոլոր բացասական հետևանքներով Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի համար։
 
Սա չհասկանալը նշանակում է ուղղակի վտանգել մեր պետականությունն ու մեր ժողովրդին դնել նոր ցեղասպանության և կոտորածի վտանգի առջև։ Սա է պատճառը, որ Ադրբեջանը, Թուրքիան և նմանատիպ երկրները բացեիբաց ողջունում են Հայաստանի՝ դեպի Արևմուտք գնալու և Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու ձգտումները։ Ավելին՝ ըստ իրենց հնարավորությունների, նրանք փորձում են աջակցել, որպեսզի Հայաստանը հեռանա Ռուսաստանից և մեն-մենակ կանգնի տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների առջև։
 
Իրականում Հայաստանը պետք է ամուր կանգնի Ռուսաստանի կողքին։ Հայաստանը պետք է իր գործողություններով ապահովի, որ տարածաշրջանային խնդիրները լուծվեն Ռուսաստանի աշխարհաքաղաքական և տարածաշրջանային ճարտարապետության շրջանակներում։ Հայաստանը ոչ թե պետք է հեռանա Ռուսաստանից, այլ պետք է պահանջ դնի՝ որպեսզի Ադրբեջանը ևս դառնա ՀԱՊԿ-ի անդամ և տարածաշրջանային խնդիրները լուծվեն բացառապես Ռուսաստանի գեոպոլիտիկ հետաքրքրությունների համատեքստում։ Քանի որ Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի շահերը համընկնում են բազմաթիվ հարցերում։ Չկա մի հարց, որտեղ Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի շահերը չհամընկնեն։ Նրանք, ովքեր փորձում են նման հարցեր բարձրացնել, կամ քաղաքականությունից չեն հասկանում, կամ կատարում են արևմտյան պատվերներ։
