Այսօր Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենյամին Նեթանյահուն Կնոջ՝ Սառայի հետ, ողջունել է ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսին և ԱՄՆ երկրորդ տիկին Ուշային իր գրասենյակում, հաղորդում է The Guardian-ը։

Զույգերը նստել են նախաճաշի, որին հաջորդել են աշխատանքային հանդիպումը և հեռուստատեսությամբ հեռարձակվող մամուլի ասուլիսը։

Վենսը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի 20 կետանոց հրադադարի ծրագրի համաձայն՝ Իսրայելի նահանջի ժամանակ Գազայում խաղաղությունը պահպանելու համար կստեղծվի միջազգային անվտանգության ուժ։

«Մեր շատ իսրայելցի ընկերներ համագործակցում են բազմաթիվ ամերիկացիների հետ՝ հրադադարի ողջ գործընթացն միջնորդելու այս ամբողջ հրադադարի գործընթացին, որպեսզի որոշ կարևորագույն ենթակառուցվածքներ գործի դրվեն», - ասել է Վենսը Երուսաղեմում Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի հետ բանակցություններից հետո

ԱՄՆ մի քանի դաշնակիցներ քննարկում են ուժերին միանալու հնարավորությունը, սակայն Գազայի տարածքում ամերիկյան զորքեր չեն լինի, փոխարենը գործողությունները կհամակարգվեն Իսրայելի Կիրյաթ Գաթ քաղաքում գտնվող քաղաքացիական-ռազմական համակարգման կենտրոնից։

Վենսը նաև նշել է, որ Գազայի հրադադարը կարող է հանգեցնել Իսրայելի ավելի շատ դաշինքների Մերձավոր Արևելքում:

Հաղորդումները, որ Իսրայելի բացահայտ քննադատքող և տարածաշրջանային մրցակից Թուրքիան կարող է զորքեր տրամադրել, ցնցել են Իսրայելի կարծիքը։

Նեթանյահուն ասել է, որ նոր անվտանգության ուժերի վերաբերյալ որոշումները կկայացվեն ԱՄՆ-ի հետ քննարկումների արդյունքում, սակայն Թուրքիայի դերի վերաբերյալ նա ասել է. «Ես շատ հստակ կարծիք ունեմ այդ մասին։ Կցանկանայի՞ք կռահել, թե դրանք ինչ են»։
